PROTOTYPING AND MASS PRODUCTION

In BUTEKOM Prototyping and Mass Production facilities; Project design, prototyping and mass production can be carried out in our strong production infrastructure for all sectors using composite and technical textile products, especially in the aerospace, automotive, rail systems, health and marine sectors.

Prototyping and Mass Production Devices

It ensures that products with a complex structure that cannot be mass-produced by traditional methods are produced in the desired form by using special fibers such as Carbon, Glass, Aramid, etc. With its 96-axis filament feeding technology, the device serves areas that require high performance, especially aerospace.

Thanks to the thermoplastic tape-weaving technology, thermoplastic tapes of a certain width can be brought into the form of woven fabric. It emphasizes the lightness and durability provided by the use of composite in metal constructions developed for sectors such as automotive, aerospace, rail systems, construction, etc., and allows the production of high-performance recyclable substitute products.

With the conveyor system, single/multi-layer precision cutting and alignment operations of materials such as fabric, felt, prepreg, cardboard, honeycomb, composite, soft aluminum, etc., can be performed with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) support.

With our thermal presses with a capacity of 150 bar, composite prototype production and optimization studies can be carried out.

Within BUTEKOM; there is a twin-screw extruder system that allows thermoplastic polymer materials to be mixed homogeneously with other thermoplastic polymers and organic/inorganic additives. In this system, polymeric mixtures and masterbatches can be produced, and additives/fillers such as powder, chopped-fibre, etc. can be added from the side feeds.

With the autoclave and curing oven, advanced engineering parts can be produced within BUTEKOM with the effect of high pressure and vacuum. Our devices that can be used on a prototype and industrial scale; allow us to obtain the highest quality composite parts without composite defects such as microvoids, surface roughness, edge unevenness, etc.

With the Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP) technology, the fiber in the form of filament is placed on the interlining with the help of stitches at the desired angle, direction and amount, and clear pre-shaped parts are produced with minimum waste. With its TFP production technology, which can be produced primarily for the automotive, aviation, sports and entertainment sectors, BUTEKOM increases your competitiveness by supporting you to produce prototypes/products with optimum performance.

With the prepreg production system in its infrastructure, BUTEKOM produces single-direction (Uni-Direction / UD) prepreg for the needs of various sectors.

With the Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) device, composite parts are produced for all sectors that require high strength and perfect surface quality by injecting pressurized resin into the mold.
